Research Associate II, Cell Biology

6-Month Initial Contract

The Opportunity:

• Design, execute, analyze, and report in vivo studies, including efficacy and PK/PD assessments.
• Develop and characterize preclinical models.
• Perform routine vivarium operations.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment while ensuring accurate record-keeping and data analysis.
• Learn and apply additional in vivo techniques as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, actively participating in meetings and presenting findings.
• Prepare and administer drugs and experimental compounds through various routes.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• BS or MS in Biology, Pharmacology, or a related field with 3–5 years of experience .
• Proficiency in mouse handling techniques, including:
• Dosing (IV, PO, subcutaneous, IP)
• Tumor inoculation and measurements
• In-life and terminal blood collection
• Survival surgeries
• Tissue handling during necropsy and ex vivo processing
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in GraphPad Prism, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word .
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work independently, managing daily responsibilities and research objectives.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with in vivo imaging and Studylog .
• Research background in mouse models of cancer and/or cancer immunotherapy .
