Research Associate II, Cell Biology

6-Month Initial Contract
The Opportunity:
- Design, execute, analyze, and report in vivo studies, including efficacy and PK/PD assessments.
- Develop and characterize preclinical models.
- Perform routine vivarium operations.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment while ensuring accurate record-keeping and data analysis.
- Learn and apply additional in vivo techniques as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, actively participating in meetings and presenting findings.
- Prepare and administer drugs and experimental compounds through various routes.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- BS or MS in Biology, Pharmacology, or a related field with 3–5 years of experience .
- Proficiency in mouse handling techniques, including:
- Dosing (IV, PO, subcutaneous, IP)
- Tumor inoculation and measurements
- In-life and terminal blood collection
- Survival surgeries
- Tissue handling during necropsy and ex vivo processing
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in GraphPad Prism, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word .
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work independently, managing daily responsibilities and research objectives.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with in vivo imaging and Studylog .
- Research background in mouse models of cancer and/or cancer immunotherapy .
