Responsibilities

The Legal Counsel will provide guidance and strategic support to business functions across the Americas and, as needed, globally. Key responsibilities include:

• Advise on legal matters and offer expert guidance on corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including customer and supplier agreements
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations across all business operations
• Manage legal risks and implementing strategies to mitigate potential challenges
• Monitor changes in legislation and advising on corporate governance matters
• Support the protection of intellectual property, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights
• Provide legal guidance on employment-related matters, including contracts, policies, and disputes
• Manage litigation and external legal counsel as needed

Experience

• J.D. degree or equivalent legal-based degree
• 5+ years of legal experience, preferably within the automotive industry
• Strong expertise in corporate law, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and risk management
