Our client is a proven national civil defense law firm that is seeking a talented and motivated Attorney to join their Medical Malpractice team in their Livingston, New Jersey office (Hybrid). This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with 1-5+years of experience in civil defense litigation who is eager to develop their skills and contribute to complex cases.

Their attorneys work closely with legal staff, partners, and trial counsel to develop case strategy and ensure client interests are well-protected from case initiation through resolution. Training and mentorship are key aspects of the role, and they provide opportunities to enhance your trial advocacy skills.

As an Associate Attorney you will:

• Handle court appearances and depositions
• Review documents and prepare for litigation
• Draft pleadings, discovery demands/responses, and briefs
• Prepare strategic correspondence and legal analysis
• Conduct in-depth legal research

Qualifications:

• 1-5+ years of experience in civil defense litigation
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey
• Strong communication, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
