Akkodis is seeking an Automotive Parts Analyst with a client located in Plano TX . Looking for someone with :

• Strong time management skills, the ability to multi-task, and the capacity to manage various priorities while ensuring clear and effective communication with stakeholders to properly manage expectations.
• Automotive experience though technical expertise is not essential (prior experience in a parts department at a dealership is a plus), have experience in document modification/creation (preferably with Microsoft Office), have basic Excel skills, and have prior parts experience.

Pay Range: $26/hr - $30/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Schedule: 7 am - 4 pm CST Monday - Friday

JOB SUMMARY:

The Automotive Parts Analyst is responsible for a variety of administrative functions and acts as the primary contact. This position combines, research, analytical, and customer service skills to support dealers, field associates, and product engineers with automotive parts queries.

Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Evaluating body shop estimates

• Conduct research and prepare reports as directed

• Mailing VIN labels

• Receive, track, and resolve requests made via email

• Verifying and releasing parts

• Part number research

• Part registration

• Claim and order analysis

• UIO breakdown by dealer analysis

• Parts monitoring support

• Analyze claim trends versus parts orders

What are the primary responsibilities this person will have on your team?

Support dealers with research, analytical and customer service skills, resolve requests made via email, phone and in person, organize and track various data and forms by VIN, verify and release parts associated to campaign initiatives and other misc. task as assigned as this job is a “catch all”

Daily delivery determines volume/pace for the day, redundant data entry, works on special side projects as needed, scrap/recycling activity.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required with an associate degree in automotive technologies or equivalent is preferred

• 5+ years of experience preferably within an automotive OEM

• 2 years of experience working in a dealership parts department or equivalent (such as aftermarket parts counter, parts manager, or service support)

• 2 years of experience in a work environment requiring customer interaction, both written and verbal

• General automotive technical knowledge (theory of operation), dealership service operations, or related technical knowledge that will facilitate ability to learn automotive technology
