Planet Interactive is looking for a Localization Project Manager to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. This role will work 40 hours per week and requires this person to be fully onsite in their Austin, TX office.

Localization Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Linguistic skills in a language other than English; excellent English communication skills
• Lead localization projects from beginning to end.
• Utilize the in-house translation management software and translation memory tools for projects.
• Lead and direct localization vendors and internal cross-functional partners.
• Act as the main point of contact for urgent localization requests that come in.
• Handle Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) on assigned portfolio.
• Help build and manipulate reporting within the organization.
• Handle handoff review meetings, gather feedback, and push out localization projects based on specific needs.
• Work on localization content for the eCommerce experience, store applications, and other platforms.

Localization Project Manager Qualifications:

• BA degree or equivalent
• Linguistic skills in a language other than English; excellent English communication skills
• Familiarity with the App Store
• Production experience; localization production preferred
• Experience in methods of automating workflow a plus
• Localization QA experience
