Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our client’s team, focusing on driving yield improvement activities as part of new product development.

The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, with experience analyzing electrical test data for ASICs/semiconductors, interpreting the results, coordinating/conducting experiments to identify root cause and implement the necessary changes to resolve the issue. Highly desired for this individual to have experience with semiconductor fabrication processes and failure analysis techniques.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and Track Test Investigations: Oversee and document test investigations.
• Review and Summarize Electrical Test Data: Analyze and compile electrical test data.
• Support Ad-Hoc Lab Investigations: Assist with spontaneous lab investigations as needed.
• Lead Failure Analysis Activities: Direct and manage failure analysis efforts.

This position involves collaborating with a team of engineers to develop implantable hardware based on the electrical data analysis conducted. The candidate will evaluate and present test data to the engineering team and ensure project completion through action plans and follow-ups.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

• Product development experience

• Yield improvement experience

• Data analysis experience in software platforms such as Mini Tab, JMP, or Microsoft Excel

Plusses:

• Medical device or regulated field experience

• Electrical design background

• Electrical testing background

• Failure analysis experience

• Experience driving yield improvements in semiconductors (SRAMS, Analog Blocks, etc.)

Pay Rate: $60.00 - 70.00 / hour depending on experience
