Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Finance – US, this role includes the following key responsibilities:
- Develop financial analysis models across the US and collaborate with Operations to review operational insights.
- Prepare monthly Country Business Review Reports for submission to headquarters.
- Gather information, compile data, and perform analysis to evaluate business financial performance and processes, focusing on:
- Creating and maintaining financial and analytical models for the business.
- Ensuring governance of business processes and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Delivering monthly management profit and loss (P&L) statements and variance analysis.
- Conducting financial analysis and tracking the core performance of the business.
- Providing financial input and guidance to ensure smooth project execution.
- Perform a wide range of analyses on costs, revenue, and margins by customer, segment, and region.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and support financial projects as directed by leadership.
- Assist the US Finance Director and US Finance Manager in providing strategic commercial finance support to the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint .
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience, including recent experience in a finance business partnering role at a mid-management level.
- Experience in the hospitality or hotel industry is highly desirable.
- Operational accounting background with the ability to understand data flows and ensure data integrity and controls.
- Working knowledge of Sun Accounting System is an advantage.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Energetic and passionate about driving change and making a meaningful impact.
- Commercially-minded with strong analytical skills, business acumen, and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, work under tight deadlines, and adopt a hands-on approach.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude.
