Addison Group, in partnership with our building materials company client in Irvine, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.
Compensation/Benefits – Salary range can increase up to $120,000/year depending on qualifications. Our client supplements base compensation with a bonus and health and wellness benefits.
SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key partner to regional operations senior leadership to drive the financial planning and reporting of the business including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions
- Develop and lead annual Financial Planning/Budgeting process across the assigned regions including creating detailed branch level budgets
- Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variance, and provide recommendations for achieving targets
- Transform data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Present clear and concise results, including processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Required
- Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis
- Current or prior employment at a large company
- Proficient with Excel modeling
- Ability to organize time and tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong oral and written communication skills
