Senior Nuclear Technical Project Manager


Compa Industries is searching for qualified candidates for a Technical Project Manager 4 position at the Los Alamos National Laboratory remote site in Richland, WA .


Salary: $105/hr - $110/hr

Location: 100% Onsite in Richland, WA

Per Diem Relocation: No

Citizenship: US citizenship Required

Work Schedule: 4-10s

Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Q clearance.

Impact

The Technical Program Manager 4 (TPM) will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of complex technical and operational projects that directly support the Department of Energy (DOE). This position is essential to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget while adhering to DOE standards and requirements. By managing cross-functional teams, budgets, schedules, and deliverables, you will contribute to national priorities and help ensure compliance with rigorous quality assurance standards, including NQA-1 processes.


Responsibilities and Duties

As a Technical Program Manager 4, you will:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, tracking, and completion of technical or operational projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Define project deliverables, schedules, budgets, and resource needs while ensuring alignment with DOE requirements.
  • Lead project teams in developing work packages that meet customer needs and programmatic goals.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative operations for designated program areas, including policy implementation, service level enhancements, and budget monitoring.
  • Provide technical guidance to staff and stakeholders while resolving complex issues under NQA-1 standards.
  • Ensure compliance with DOE Order 413.3B for construction projects and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships and address challenges effectively.


Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Prior experience supporting DOE projects or NRC work scope.
  • Demonstrated expertise in EVMS programs and DOE Order 413.3B projects.
  • Experience with quality control, quality assurance, and managing complex issues under NQA-1 standards.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with difficult customers.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Familiarity with fabrication, construction processes, and NQA-1 standards is preferred but not mandatory.
