Security Manager - Data Centers
Location: Salt Lake City - UTAH | Travel: ~10% | Availability: On-call 24/7
About the Role
My Client is seeking a Security Manager to lead physical security operations across multiple U.S. data centers. This role focuses on vendor management, risk mitigation, crisis response, and ensuring a safe, secure environment for employees, clients, and partners. You'll work closely with internal teams, security vendors, and stakeholders to implement best practices and uphold the highest security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee security vendor performance across multiple locations.
- Develop and maintain security policies, SOPs, and emergency response plans.
- Monitor incidents, emerging risks, and ensure timely resolution of security concerns.
- Lead investigations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage security budgets, contracts, and vendor negotiations.
- Provide security training and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Support technology-driven security solutions, including access control and surveillance systems.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in site/campus security management.
- Strong knowledge of physical security strategies, emergency protocols, and regulatory compliance .
- Experience managing security vendors, budgets, and contracts .
- Ability to lead investigations and analyze risk assessments.
- Familiarity with security technologies (CCTV, access control, incident management systems).
- Strong communication and leadership skills to engage with teams and clients.
