General Superintendent - Data Center/Mission Critical

Location: Charlotte NC

Base Salary: 200k

This is a Contractor that specializes in providing turnkey industrial contracting services, is well known for their excellence in mechanical systems, electrical installations, and plumbing. As a Mission Critical General Superintendent, you'll oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical systems across multiple projects, coordinating with various departments to ensure compliance with company standards. You'll work closely with Project Managers and other teams to ensure timely project completion, supervise field staff, and evaluate temporary employees for long-term potential. Your role will involve managing electrical work, ensuring it aligns with the project schedule, and collaborating with other trades to meet deadlines.

Duties:

  • Manage project scheduling, crew organization, and manpower projections with Project and Field Operation Managers.
  • Develop and oversee material management and logistics plans to ensure timely material handling.
  • Create and implement safety plans, ensuring compliance with project-specific and company standards.
  • Oversee quality control, ensuring code compliance and managing punch lists with the QA/QC teams.
  • Lead BIM layout and pre-fabrication planning, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent or General Superintendent.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent on Mission Critical Projects.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs regularly and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Willingness to travel and comply with company safety, drug, and alcohol testing requirements.
