Job Responsibilities:
- Client Management.
- Preconstruction activities including preconstruction meetings, project set up, budget prep, and project hand off.
- Construction activities including staff and resource scheduling, material acquisition, progress meetings, cost tracking and project closeout.
- Coordinating with customers, contractors, suppliers, field superintendents, and sub-contractors.
- Maintain constant communication with field staff to ensure successful execution of projects within budget.
- Proficiency in AIA document, Billing.
- Sub-contractor management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or comparable experience.
- 5+ years of experience in designing or constructing public infrastructure projects and subcontractor coordination, including work on water mains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, roadwork utilities, site grading, and paving.
- Interest in working on small and large construction projects.
- Proven track record of managing projects within budget and on schedule.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract language.
- Ability to multi-task and regularly change focus to address the most urgent needs.
- High degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Suite, Bluebeam, and Procore.
- CDOT Experience.
- Project bidding including material takeoffs and quote preparation.
