An employer is looking for a Detail Engineer in the Richardson, TX area. Your primary role will be to define, engineer and resolve network capacity requirements for the client's network, utilizing high capacity lightwave/ wave division multiplexing technologies to monitor network services capacity, vulnerability and growth requirements. You’ll be responsible for equipment engineering, implementation engineering, and network equipment inventory for the evolved Network Service Edge (eNSE) Network. This team provides and supports construction and provisioning teams with detailed project installation packages (I-Specs) and material ordering while maintaining records in centralized engineering databases called ICON and VENUE. You will plan, forecast and engineer network infrastructure and perform detailed equipment engineering for network augments. You will be managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensure all milestones and SLAs are met. Additional tasks will include building BOMs, ensure all work meets engineering standards and manage/ update the network inventory database to reflect new builds.
