Apex Systems, a World-Class Technology Solutions Provider, is currently hiring an API QA Engineer, for an established client in the Denver area. Ideal candidates will have the experience below, please note only qualified applicants will be contacted.
Skill level: 2+ years’ experience
The ideal candidate will:
- Have general functional testing skills and understanding of the SQE process
- Test and Automate API’s using RESTAssured, GraphQL
- Have experience with BDD/Cucumber
- Be skilled in Test Automation development with Selenium or Karate
- Be familiar with automated testing and Java technologies
- Have experience executing and maintaining automated functional, non-functional, and regression tests
- Be able to accurately estimate task durations and meet schedules in an Agile software development environment
- Possess knowledge of web functionality and HTML
- Have experience working with an Agile development team
- Possess a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Be flexible and able to adapt to any given situation
- Have a customer-focused attitude, with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Performance/Load testing is a HUGE PLUS
- Have the ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions
- Make timely and sound decisions
- Be able to multi-task in an effective manner and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
- Work well in either a team setting or independently, producing required results without close supervision
- Have the ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Be self-motivated, requiring limited supervision or direction
- Manage information and data in a confidential and professional manner
