A well-known pesonal injury law firm serving Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio is seeking a Litigation Attorney to add to their Indianapolis office. This role entails handling of motor vehicle accident cases, dog bites, and premise liability cases in litigation. Role is remote, with occasional (quarterly) visits into the office for trial prep. Candidate can live in Indiana or Kentucky, as long as licensed in IN. The ideal candidate must: a) be licensed in Indiana, b) have 5+ years of litigation experience, with 2 of those being personal injury, and c) must have gone to trial. Role entails a base salary of 70-75K with a 10% commission fee on the settlement or verdict of each case. Attorneys will be working 50-60 cases revolving. Excellent benefits. Responsibilities
- Day-to-day handling of motor vehicle accident cases in litigation
- Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
- Guide clients through the case process
- Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
- Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
- Attend training programs and seminars that may be outside of normal business hours
