Job Overview – Sales Engineer (Construction):
Step into a pivotal role with our client as a Sales Engineer in Montgomery County, PA. This full-time role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to drive new business opportunities and nurture existing client relationships within Central Pennsylvania. You will provide tailored solutions to meet client needs, achieve sales targets, and contribute to business growth.
Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000/year + commission
Location: Montgomery County, PA
Responsibilities as the Sales Engineer (Construction):
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, building a strong pipeline in Central Pennsylvania.
- Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed company sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Strengthen relationships with existing clients by addressing needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Proposal Preparation: Create detailed proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales agreements.
- Product Demonstrations: Present and demonstrate products, answering technical questions and offering customized solutions.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitors, and client feedback to refine sales strategies.
Qualifications for the Sales Engineer (Construction):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years in outside sales, preferably in Commercial/Industrial HVAC Equipment, with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial/industrial boilers, water heaters, and venting systems, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical clients.
- Skills: Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and drive results.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within Central Pennsylvania as required.
