Job Title: Senior Account Manager

Location: Hybrid (Norcross, Georgia)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Vice President of Sales


Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager with a strong background in managing channel relationships to drive sales of enterprise data center hardware third-party maintenance services. The role will be focused primarily on establishing new partner relationships. This role is integral to our growth strategy within an emphasis on generating, managing and expanding relationships with channel partners, including value-added resellers (VARs), managed service providers (MSPs), systems integrators and other channel partners. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the enterprise IT landscape and a proven track record in achieving revenue targets in a highly competitive environment.


Key Responsibilities

1.Channel Partner Development

  • Establish and nurture strategic relationships with channel partners to create a mutually beneficial partnership ecosystem.
  • Identify, onboard, and enable new channel partners, ensuring alignment with company goals and market objectives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess performance, identify opportunities, and address challenges.

2.Sales and Revenue Growth

  • Collaborate with channel partners to develop and execute sales strategies for enterprise data center hardware maintenance services.
  • Drive revenue growth by leveraging partner networks to identify and close opportunities with end customers.
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and contribute to overall company revenue goals.

3.Solution Selling Expertise

  • Present and position third-party maintenance solutions as a cost-effective, scalable alternative to OEM support, tailored to customer needs.
  • Educate channel partners on product value propositions, industry trends, and competitive advantages.
  • Provide guidance on structuring maintenance contracts for data center hardware, ensuring comprehensive coverage and value for end clients.

4.Account Management and Retention

  • Act as the primary point of contact for channel partners, fostering long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services and resolution of partner/customer issues.
  • Maintain a focus on customer satisfaction and contract renewals through proactive engagement and relationship management.

5.Market and Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to provide actionable insights to channel partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Recommend adjustments to sales strategies and tactics based on market feedback and partner input.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 - 5 years in a sales or account executive role, with at least 3 years managing channel partnerships. Experience selling third-party maintenance or IT services in the enterprise data center hardware market is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of data center hardware (servers, storage, networking) and maintenance lifecycles. Familiarity with third-party maintenance solutions is a significant advantage.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. Experience in solution-based selling to C-level executives and IT decision-makers.
  • Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with channel partners and end clients.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and clients.


Functional / Technical competencies

  • Good knowledge of ERP systems (namely Salesforce and Hubspot) is essential.
  • Use of standard business systems such as MS Word, excel and teams is essential.
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience selling IT Solutions within the channel.
