As a Regional Sales Manager, you will oversee the sales and marketing operations for a portion of our Western region of communities, ensuring that you and your team meet or exceed your sales goals.
Your job will include:
- Work with Senior Leadership to develop business plans and ensure that sales and marketing goals are achieved.
- Oversee community sales programs to ensure sales managers and community managers recognize and take action on potential sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement exciting new ways to market our communities to potential new home buyers.
- Monitor internet leads and follow-up with appropriate sales staff.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of lead tracking follow-up from all sources.
- Ensure community market studies are prepared timely and accurately to have a clear understanding of the competition around each property.
- Monitor community new home inventory to ensure proper levels are maintained.
- Review and approve sales contracts to insure company policies are being followed regarding sales and that corporate profitability goals are being met.
- Work with Sales Managers to make sure they maintain good resident relations through ongoing communications, responsiveness to complaints and suggestions, promotion of appropriate events and programs, and have an all-encompassing attitude of courteous, respect, and customer service.
- Hire, train and coach sales managers and teams.
- Have regular communication with Construction Coordinators to ensure that new homes are meeting scheduled construction timelines needed to satisfy contracted closing dates.
- Regularly communicate with the regional escrow department to ensure closing documents are accurate and arrive on time.
Experience and skills you need:
- Bachelor’s degree plus experience in real estate, new home sales, and/or multi-family sales.
- Supervisory experience with strong leadership skills. You are an effective communicator and your interpersonal skills are strong.
- Proven experience leading a winning sales team.
- You can travel up to 70% and have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook and Excel.
- You are collaborative and enjoy working as part of a team with the ability to be effective working in a matrixed environment.
