Britton Industries, the tri-state area’s leading manufacturer of 100% recycled premium mulches, soils and compost, is offering an opportunity for a talented full-time Business Development Assistant to join our expanding organization.
Responsibilities:
- Research bid opportunities and manage proposal files & bid calendar
- Assist with bid packages for governmental and institutional clients
- Update & maintain contact data in CRM program
- Liaise with customers and prospects throughout sales cycle
- Collaborate with Marketing & Sales Teams on outreach initiatives
- Generate sales team quotes with support of revenue manager
- Participate in market research and lead generation for sales team
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years proven experience in business development support
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on Excel
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat software and CRM required. Salesforce experience preferred. Training provided.
- Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail
