The company has introduced a groundbreaking system to promote bone healing through innovative technology designed to encourage patient compliance, engagement, and informed dialogue between healthcare providers and patients.


Job Title: Territory Sales Manager – Medical Devices (Spine & DME)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Compensation: Base Salary: $80,000 | At Plan: $225,000

Experience Required: Previous Medical Device Sales Experience


Position Overview:


As a Territory Sales Manager , you will be a critical member of the sales team, managing the Fort Worth, Texas region. You will be responsible for promoting and selling innovative spinal fusion bone stimulation devices to surgeons and clinical staff. This role requires a proven track record in medical device sales, particularly within Orthopedics, Spine, or Durable Medical Equipment (DME).


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Leadership:


  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled in-person sales calls with orthopedic spine and neurosurgeons and their staff to establish productive professional relationships.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and drive regional growth.


Territory Management:


  • Plan and execute sales strategies to develop new accounts while growing existing customer relationships.
  • Maintain a consistent presence in clinics, working closely with surgeons, physician assistants, medical assistants, and patient caregivers to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Systematically track territory progress using CRM software and provide insights and feedback to the sales manager and team.


Clinical and Patient Support:


  • Educate patients and clinicians on the proper use of devices, focusing on best practices to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Provide technical and clinical support in collaboration with healthcare providers.


Customer Relationships:


  • Identify and address unmet needs, providing value-driven solutions to healthcare professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and R&D, to share market insights and contribute to product innovation.


Compliance and Reporting:


  • Maintain accurate sales reports, expense records, and regulatory documentation.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company standards and quality management systems.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of successful medical device sales experience (Orthopedics and Spine preferred).
  • Recognized and awarded sales performance, with proven success managing competitive markets.
  • Direct experience working with prescribing professionals, including surgeons and clinicians, in a clinic setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the assigned territory.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools for tracking and managing customer relationships.


Preferred Skills:


  • Completion of a professional sales training program.
  • Strong technical and medical subject knowledge.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Essential Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
  • Mobility to access clinic offices and patient homes as required.
  • Light lifting and carrying of equipment during sales demonstrations.
  • Occasional overnight travel as needed.
