Job Title: National Account Manager

Location: Lombard, IL

Pay: $105K


Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience managing national or large-scale accounts within the Consumer Packaged Goods sector.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, marketing, category management, or merchandising roles.
  • Proficient in using analytics and financial data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Background in the Auto Appearance or car care industry with a focus on sales.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online sales strategies.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute national programs that drive profitability and align with company goals.
  • Manage relationships with key account stakeholders and broker teams to ensure strong partnerships.
  • Collaborate with customers to uncover new opportunities and design impactful promotions.
  • Lead line reviews in partnership with the Marketing team, ensuring alignment with product offerings and customer needs.
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities at top accounts and present strategic initiatives to internal stakeholders.
  • Implement pricing strategies and negotiate sales terms and contracts with key accounts.
  • Play a key role in inventory planning and forecasting for assigned accounts.
  • Partner with Finance and Customer Service to manage trade spending and oversee credit management processes.
  • Analyze sales performance and inventory data to offer actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Finance to execute promotional plans that exceed customer expectations.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to identify opportunities for product improvements and new business growth.
