Contract to hire opening with our engineering client for a Regional Sales Engineer. This role will oversee sales representatives with a focus on electro-mechanical product sales within assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Regularly visit customers and/or sales representatives within your assigned sales territory to implement sales strategies and ensure targets are met.
- Provide technical and sales support to sales representatives, addressing customer inquiries and needs effectively.
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of sales representatives to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on sales objectives and market strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Regional Sales Engineer, Area Manager, or similar sales role.
- Strong understanding of electro-mechanical products and their applications preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region to meet with customers and sales representatives.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach to achieving and exceeding sales goals.
