Role Overview
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth across the Central and/or Eastern U.S. This position is designed for a strategic, client-focused sales professional who thrives on building relationships and delivering impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets within your assigned territory.
- Identify and develop high-growth opportunities across the region.
- Establish new and nurture existing long-term relationships with clients.
- Serve as an expert on Electrom’s testing and diagnostic solutions.
- Deliver impactful product demonstrations, technical support and training on-site and online.
- Maintain detailed, organized records of sales activities in CRM.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and client needs.
- Represent Electrom at industry conferences, exhibits and events to drive visibility.
- Collect and communicate client feedback internally to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Successful experience in industrial sales of technical capital equipment with consideration given to diverse industry backgrounds.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel as needed.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field preferred ; business degree with relevant experience.
