Licensed Clinician (Specialist, Child Well-Being)
Our client is seeking a Licensed Clinician (Specialist, Child Well-Being) to support child welfare efforts at DHS sites. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, supportive environment for children by assessing well-being, coordinating care, and collaborating with facility staff.
Key Responsibilities:
? Monitor physical environments and interactions to ensure child safety and well-being.
? Proactively identify and address concerns, coordinating interventions as needed.
? Work closely with management to support children requiring specialized medical or psychological care.
? Assist in documentation and transfer of cases for children with special needs.
? Engage with children to provide emotional support and identify those in distress.
? Educate staff on culturally sensitive care and best practices.
? Report activities to leadership through shift reports and meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
Master’s degree in behavioral health or related field (Doctorate preferred).
Licensed Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW), Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in child development, trauma-centered care, and clinical evaluations.
Experience in immigration settings preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to travel within the Continental U.S.
