The HR Director will be a pivotal leader in shaping the organization’s culture and driving its growth. This role supports approximately 250 corporate staff and professionals while leading a team of two HR Coordinators. Reporting to the Chief Talent & Diversity Officer, the HR Director will oversee key HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, compensation, and learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the organization’s growth and long-term goals.
- Provide expert HR input to guide strategic decisions and support business objectives.
Talent Management
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development, performance management, and offboarding.
- Continuously refine processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and manage a team of HR Coordinators, fostering professional growth and a collaborative environment.
Employee Relations
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations matters, ensuring equitable and effective resolutions.
- Foster a culture of trust and support through open communication and proactive guidance.
Compensation and Benefits
- Lead the evaluation and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Monitor market trends to ensure the organization remains an employer of choice.
Risk Management
- Oversee risk mitigation efforts in HR, including compliance with employment laws and financial risk management.
- Manage workers’ compensation, business insurance, and liability coverage.
Learning and Development
- Drive initiatives that support employee growth through targeted learning and development programs.
Operations and Facilities Oversight
- Supervise the facilities leader, ensuring office operations, vendor management, and event coordination run efficiently.
- Provide guidance to managers overseeing support staff and operational teams.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
- Partner with leadership to embed DEI principles into all stages of the employee lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Minimum of 3 years managing a team of HR professionals.
- Strong expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and mediation.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement innovative HR strategies.
- Advanced knowledge of employment laws, HRIS systems, and talent acquisition.
- Proven track record in fast-paced, service-oriented environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry experience in professional services.
- Advanced degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
