Domingue, Szabo & Associates is a Lafayette, Louisiana consulting engineering and surveying firm that is seeking Louisiana-licensed professional land surveyor or land surveyor intern to join our team. Experience with GPS, Robotic Total Station and other surveying tools, experience with Autocad software desired.  Typical work includes topographic surveying, property boundary surveying, plat preparation, and courthouse research of property records.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish surveying requirements applicable to engineering projects in conjunction with Engineering Project Manager.
• Project Manager for all survey projects such as plats, ALTA Surveys, Right-of-Way maps, etc.
• Schedule and management of all surveying work.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead survey crew, operate GPS, robotic total station, data collectors, and other surveying equipment is required.
• Surveying in coordination with engineering and drafting
• Project Manager for all survey projects.

Requirements:

• Four-year degree with class work required for land surveying license or obtainable within one year of employment.
• PLS or LSI license required
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge and experience using AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of survey equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate GPS, conventional total station, data collectors, and other surveying equipment is required.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
