Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience in a Project Manager or equivalent role.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the United States up to 15% of the time, including week-long trips if needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working on renewable energy project sites.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
- Knowledge of the Procore platform.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of our solar tracking projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a forward-thinking company in the renewable energy industry.
- Initiate and manage project planning processes, ensuring that project goals, objectives, and scope are clearly defined.
- Allocate project resources efficiently, including personnel, materials, and equipment, while adhering to project budgets.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, keeping a close eye on expenditures and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, milestones, and potential challenges.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues that may arise during project execution.
- Advocate for the company's interests and uphold contract terms to protect against potential incidents or disputes.
- Collaborate closely with upper management to make informed decisions in the face of project challenges and uncertainties.
- Monitor project performance in conjunction with the installation supervisor, ensuring alignment with planned schedules and quality standards.
- Oversee and streamline customer support processes, working to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret project data to evaluate overall performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the timely achievement of collection milestones in accordance with contractual agreements.
