Position Name: Supply Chain Specialist / Materials Management
Location: Bloomington, IL 61704
Duration: 3 months temp to hire
Pay Rate: $30/hr on W2.
Shift: M-F- 6 am - 2.30 pm
SUMMARY
•This Position will oversee Inbound and Outbound Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Inventory Management Dunnage Disposal / Management of Supply Chain Personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following .
•Safety
•Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
•Review and maintain safety compliance records.
•Correct any unsafe conditions when they are found.
•Logistics
•Analyze and recommend any supply chain efficiency measures.
•Analyze and review requests for maintenance of logistics equipment.
•Ensure all equipment and other facilities are in working order.
•Develop and monitor a fleet maintenance schedule!
•Work with necessary subcontractors to maintain logistics equipment.
•HR
•Interview candidates for direct driving positions
•Recommend programs to reduce turnover.
•Maintain Disciplinary records.
•Planning
•Review Capacity plans vs. upcoming customer demand
•Recommend equipment purchases.
•Oversee any warehouse and fleet upgrades/improvements.
•Review and update any relevant SOPs.
•Work with supplier and customer representatives to maintain on-time delivery and pickup.
•Metric Reporting
•Lost time accidents
•Vehicle downtime
•Capacity Utilization
•Logistics Spend
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is the direct supervisor for all personnel within the logistics and supply chain department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous Supply Chain experience
