Seeking a Lab Tech to join a Chemical company near the Quakertown, PA area.

Production:

• Work with GC (FID or TCD detectors) and Moisture/Oxygen Analyzers.
• Maintains quality control records and log books. Prepares analytical reports as required.
• Performs all other tasks as assigned by local plant management.
• Operates selected purification systems over different shifts and days of the week.
• Performs analysis of pure gases and gas mixtures.
• Prepares analytical reports as required.
• Samples and analyzes incoming bulk deliveries, storage tanks, sample cylinders, stock cylinders and product cylinders for quality control purposes.
• Maintains laboratory equipment in good working order. Capable of performing simple instrument maintenance.
• Performs all other tasks as assigned by local plant management.

• Keeps work area clean and orderly.
• Follows all company safety procedures and policies.
• Maintains a safe work environment for laboratory personnel.

Quality:

• Adheres to all quality assurance policies and standards.
• Maintains calibration and instrument sensitivity logs in accordance with quality management system.

Education:

• Minimum AS degree, 4 year degree in Life Science preferred.
