About the role :

At Cornerstone Controls, we're on the lookout for a talented engineer with experience with automation software and hardware to fill the role of Automation Inside Sales/Solutions Architect Engineer.

As an Automation Inside Sales/Solutions Architect Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our customers to uncover their unique needs, define requirements and constraints, and create tailored, engineered solutions that go above and beyond their expectations.

We leverage Emerson's Automation Solutions product line to deliver unparalleled value to our customers. Bolstered by a strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, you'll approach each project with attention to precision and detail. Your proposals will communicate customer solutions, technically accurate and error-free.

The ideal candidate will have a background in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on automation solutions. Ability to communicate and build strong relationships with Account Managers and customers are a must, along with collaboration and a strong aptitude for analytical thinking and problem-solving. Initiative and a dedication to seeing projects through to completion are also necessary skills.

We provide comprehensive product and services training with on-the-job learning. Throughout your first year, you'll receive mentorship from experienced Account Managers, Project Managers, Lead Engineers, and your fellow Inside Sales/Solutions Architect Engineers.

What You’ll Need

• A Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Chemical, Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Live within a commutable distance of our Indianapolis office.
