JDP is seeking a SQF Practitioner in Anderson, SC area! The candidate will be responsible for all food safety and SQF programs in the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute in plant procedures to achieve food safety and quality requirements
• Oversee compliance and maintain SQF systems
• Ensure ongoing compliance and certification
• Be the plants SQF certification contact, specifically during audits
• Assist in annual SQF audits, and develop and maintain an action plan following audits
• Verify employee food safety training is conducted in a timely manner with proper documentation
• Provide guidance & leadership where potential risks have been identified
• Follow all established programs, policies, and practices
• Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems

Requirements:

• Associates degree in the areas of food science or microbiology, dairy/bakery or food science
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to record testing data.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate issues
