It’s the sweetest time of year again here at Krispy Kreme! Our 10-week internship (May 27th – August 1st) is designed for students looking to make full use of their talents through a hands-on work experience. During your internship, you will tackle meaningful projects that leave a lasting impact on our organization. This paid internship is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to unleash their creativity, work in an amazing hybrid-friendly office in South End Charlotte, and learn from the Most Loved Sweet Treat Brand. You’ll also get the chance to contribute to a sweet group project where you’ll create your very own limited time offer collection!


Krispy Kreme’s Social Media Intern will be responsible for supporting Krispy Kreme’s overall community engagement through social media, working with the social media team to develop and implement our social media content calendar with a focus on driving social engagement and conversion in-shop and online. This exciting position helps shape the way consumers view our brand, understanding more about the impact social media has in the larger marketing mix and building brand love.


A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Support development of social media marketing calendar and the role it plays in the broader marketing mix
  • Develop engaging and on brand social media content
  • Support management of consumer engagement through social media
  • Assist in the production of brand content
  • Support strategic brainstorms for new on trend content opportunities
  • Support reporting and analytics for previous campaigns and develop strategic recommendations


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

  • Undergrad student majoring in marketing, advertising, business, or a related area
  • Passion and enthusiasm for social media and sweet treat category
  • Working understanding of all major social media platforms, nuances between them & understanding of most effective content styles for each
  • Strong creative mindset with ability to conceptualize and bring to life social media content
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders – agency, internal creative, media strategy, finance, legal, operations, and innovation – to reach strategic goals.
  • Ability to interface comfortably and effectively across levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, shift priorities, work under tight timelines, and react quickly to take advantage of real-time opportunities.
  • Ability to efficiently work in a hybrid (remote and in-office) environment.
  • And of course… LOVE DOUGHNUTS!
