Job Description

A growing manufacturing company in Warsaw, IN is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team and help build out an internal HR function . This role will take ownership of core HR processes , including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance , while supporting leadership and employees to create a positive, people-first workplace culture .


We’re looking for someone with prior HR experience who is ready to contribute strategically while also handling day-to-day HR operations .


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment , including job postings, interviews, onboarding , and offboarding
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, supporting employee relations and fostering positive workplace relationships
  • Administer benefits enrollment , payroll support , and workers’ compensation processes
  • Maintain and update employee records to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to align with best practices
  • Support training and development programs to ensure employees have the tools they need to succeed
  • Lead HR projects focused on process improvement and employee engagement initiatives


What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of HR experience , preferably in a generalist or specialist capacity
  • Strong understanding of recruitment , employee relations , benefits administration , and HR compliance
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems , payroll platforms , and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and build HR processes within a growing company
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to support employees and leadership


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Business Administration , or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws
