Are you a Psychiatrist passionate about substance use treatment and public health? County Health Department is seeking a Medical Director to lead our Substance Use Treatment Services program .

Key Responsibilities:

• Medical Leadership: Provide oversight of all clinical services, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance.
• Supervision & Training: Guide and support nurse practitioners; provide clinical consultations and training.
• Process Improvement: Enhance treatment protocols and policies to improve efficiency and patient outcomes .
• Community Engagement: Collaborate with medical providers to improve continuity of care for substance use patients.

What You Bring:

• MD or DO with completion of residency in Psychiatry (or related fields).
• Experience in substance use treatment (clinic-based, primary care, or addiction medicine).
• Active Washington physician license and DEA license .
• Leadership skills and a public health mindset .

Compensation & Work Environment:

• $96K - $123K annually (for 0.5 FTE) .
• Primarily on-site , with potential hybrid flexibility.
