About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in our upcoming rebranding project. This project involves transitioning our Portals and File Transfer applications for prior authorization and utilization management to align with the company's new brand identity.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical solutions we develop are robust, stable, and meet all functional and non-functional requirements. You will also be a thought leader, providing valuable insights and best practices throughout the development process.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software solutions with a focus on resiliency, stability, and operational readiness.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing Prior Authorization web application, Portals and File Transfer applications.
  • Champion software engineering best practices, including innovative solutioning and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
  • Conduct research to identify potential impacts of the rebranding project on applications, licensing, certifications, and gateways.
  • Clearly communicate technical information and complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate effectively within an Agile development team.
  • Continuously learn new technologies and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in .NET development, including VB.Net and C#.Net Core 3.1 and above.
  • Strong experience with SQL databases, particularly MySQL and writing complex scripts.
  • Experience with the Angular framework, MVC, Entity Framework, and API testing tools (Insomnia, Postman, SoapUI).
  • Working knowledge of cloud fundamentals, with a preference for AWS, EC2, and Lambda.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Commitment to quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Positive and respectful team player.
