Our company has experienced significant growth over the past several years. We are seeking to expand the business of our current customers and to partner with new customers to fuel continued growth. We are seeking a sales professional with a customer solution mindset to help us achieve our objectives. This position will be responsible for representing several current customers and developing business with new customers.


This role is perfect for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with sales acumen to help clients find the best solutions for their needs.


Summary:  

The ideal candidate will ensure our existing customers appreciate the full scope and potential of our capabilities to maximize our sales and value creation. This role will also proactively target new customers to engage with our company on product solutions. He/she will work closely with customer service, operations and engineering to bring profitable solutions to customers.


Responsibilities:

·      Identify and engage with local, regional and national companies that represent the potential for $100,000+ annual revenue.

·      Develop and execute tailored strategies to target and convert new opportunities. Both inbound inquiries and targeted opportunities.

·      Partner with Management, Marketing, Engineering, Operations and Customer Service as appropriate to deliver the LJDM value proposition to new potential partners

·      Explore the market potential of proprietary products and processes to a wide range of customers.

·      Build relationships and grow sales with a current portfolio of customers. Ensure all customers understand the full scope of our technological advancements and value-adding capabilities.

·      Ensure we consistently exceed expectations in delivering innovative solutions

·      Support the advancement of Continuous Improvement within the company with a focus on Safety, Quality, On-time Delivery and Productivity.

·      Develop pricing recommendations for new products. Think strategically to capture the value we are providing for the customer.

·      Review ongoing customer pricing in accordance with business strategies and standard protocols, including requirements around responsiveness.

·      Support Customer Service in their efforts to mitigate roadblocks and facilitate throughput during the manufacturing process

·      This role will require regional travel and may include overnight travel.


Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business).

·       Proven experience in technical sales or a related field.

·       Strong technical understanding of the products being sold.

·       Enthusiasm and aptitude to learn the technical aspects of our industry.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to explain technical information in a simple and concise manner.

·       Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·       Willingness to travel as needed.
