Requirements
- 15 years of proven leadership experience in sales within the manufacturing sector, with at least 10 years in a senior management position.
- A bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated success in a senior sales leadership role, including the development and execution of strategic sales plans that drive significant revenue growth and market expansion. Proficient in using CAD and ERP systems, with a preference for experience with Global Shop ERP.
- In-depth knowledge of Industry 4.0 principles and technologies, including expertise in smart manufacturing, IoT, big data analytics, and automation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement strategic sales and marketing initiatives to achieve or exceed organizational revenue objectives.
- Identify and capture new business opportunities and untapped markets within the precision machining sector.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, in building and nurturing key customer relationships, closing significant deals, and achieving revenue targets.
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients while proactively seeking opportunities for business growth and market expansion.
- Collaborate with the executive team to ensure alignment between sales/marketing efforts and the company’s broader business goals and operational capacities.
- Represent the company by traveling to meet with prospective clients, customers, and vendors, fostering lasting partnerships.
- Attend and represent the organization at industry trade shows and relevant events.
- Cultivate a results-oriented culture, emphasizing the completion of projects and goals with urgency.
- Monitor and assess market dynamics and trends, adjusting strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
- Oversee and execute the company's comprehensive marketing strategy, ensuring seamless integration with sales initiatives.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Mentor and guide the sales team, setting clear performance goals and fostering an environment of continuous development and success.
- Analyze industry trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to uncover new opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Spearhead efforts to identify and secure new business, particularly in key sectors such as aerospace, medical, and defense.
