Our government client is seeking a talented data analyst to join their team in Nashville, TN.



*Duties and Responsibilities*

Below is a list of responsibilities that—while not comprehensive—provides an overview of the duties of the Data Analyst in a contract capacity (through December 20, 2024):
* Ingest and prepare data within Google Big Query for use in Tableau dashboards.
* Develop and document requirements for one project including multiple Tableau visualizations
* Execute the project requirements and adjust the visualizations in response to multiple rounds of feedback.
* Reorganize the data within Google Big Query for the purposes of long-term storage and effective annual updates to the project dashboards.
* Data entry to support the activities above, as needed.

*Skills and Qualifications:*

The candidate should have at least a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of work experience. In addition, the candidate should possess the following qualifications:
* Intermediate skills and experience wrangling unstructured data (additional experience with database design preferred, experience with Google Cloud Platform and Big Query a plus).
* Experience engaging with customers to develop project requirements for dashboards
* Intermediate skills and experience with data visualization techniques and software, including Tableau.
* Experience writing, interpreting, and applying business rules to data.
* Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to think strategically, problem-solve, juggle multiple priorities, and remain attentive to details.
* Excellent communications skills, including an ability to communicate with a diverse audience (verbally and in writing) that includes both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
* Ownership of results, with a standard for excellence

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
