Seattle Radiology is located on a narrow strip of land between the salt waters of the Puget Sound and the fresh waters of Lake Washington, Seattle is known for its bustling waterfront, lush evergreen forests and the picturesque backdrop of the San Juan Islands. Just beyond the water are two rugged mountain ranges, the Olympics to the west and the Cascades to the east.

We're an Outpatient Imaging Center, located near downtown Seattle in the Nordstrom Tower. Our facility is open Monday-Friday. We're hiring for a full time X-Ray Technologist. Monday-Friday/ Day shift. No weekend or call work.

Compensation:

The salary range is $34.72/hour to $52.95/hour. The salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status. The compensation listed is based on full-time employment status, full-time is 40 hours per week.

Position Hours:

Monday- Friday/Day Shift.

Position Summary:

Properly performs X-Ray, Fluoroscopy and DEXA imaging to ACR standards
Ability to physically assist patients to obtain high quality imaging
Assists radiologist with specialized procedures
Prepares sterile trays
Properly screens orders prior to exam for any precautions or contraindications
Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner
Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health, and safety standards
Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance

Qualifications and Requirements:

Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program or other compatible course of study
Washington State Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic license required (Washington State X-ray license, ARRT)
One year of X-Ray experience preferred
Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR
Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions
