*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our finance department. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role is essential in supporting our financial operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. We offer a flexible come-and-go schedule with part time hours to accommodate your needs.

*Duties*
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
* Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
* Weekly billing and accruals
* Handling of AR/AP accounts
* Interpret financial reports and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
* Utilize accounting software QuickBooks, for efficient financial management.
* Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data and support cross-functional initiatives.
* Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to maintain compliance.

*Qualifications*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
* Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role with a strong understanding of GAAP.
* Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks (desktop).
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* Strong communication skills to convey financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
