Job Duties may include but are not limited to:
* Perform duties as a professional under guidelines of Nurse Practice Act.
* Maintain infection control policies and procedures
* Dispense medications properly
* Application of wound dressing, wound care, suture removal and diabetic care.
* Collect and interpret appropriate data of biopsychosocial health status
* Provide respiratory care (suctioning, oxygen administration, tracheostomy care, aerosol and other respiratory therapies
* Promote adequate nutrition (placement and maintenance of feeding tubes)
* Provide basic emergency treatment required (CPR, Heimlich etc)
* Ensure resident safety and comfort by making rounds at least every two hours
* Provide direct care for residents
* Follow safety techniques in transferring, moving and positioning residents
* Maintain confidentiality and privacy
* Complete charting to meet professional standard
* Perform other duties as assigned by nursing administration
