*Job Overview*
As a Travel Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings. *Duties*
* Provide direct patient care in diverse clinical environments, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including pain management strategies.
* Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
* Assist in the care of patients requiring specialized treatments such as neonatal ventilator support or dialysis.
* Conduct specimen collection processing and manage infectious disease care protocols.
* Educate patients and their families on home community care practices and post-discharge instructions.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and care plans.

*Skills*
* Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
* Proficiency in operating neonatal ventilators and other medical equipment.
* Knowledge of workers' compensation law as it pertains to patient care.
* Experience in infectious disease care, including prevention and management strategies.
* Ability to perform specimen collection processing accurately and efficiently.
* Familiarity with home community care practices for effective patient education.
* Competence in adhering to established healthcare standards within operating rooms (OR).
* Skills in pain management techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
* Ability to dialyze patients when required, demonstrating proficiency in renal care.
