Job Description
Objectives and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer ratings
  2. Maintain positive professional relationships with clients (internal and external)
  3. Use financial techniques to improve sales revenue
  4. Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met
  5. Track all business-related invoices
  6. Train sales professionals and help improve their skills
  7. Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions
  8. Promote the company's products or services to prospective clients
  9. Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders
  10. Provide continuous, constructive feedback to salespeople
  11. Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines
  12. Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company's products or services
Skills and qualifications
  1. BS/BA - Engineering or Business Administration
  2. Minimum of 8 years in a business development role within the Automotive Industry
  3. Proven record of sales growth
  4. Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques
  5. Exceptional project management skills
  6. Previous leadership experience
  7. Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential
  8. Strong ability for resolving conflict (point person - solutions expert)
Preferred qualifications
  1. MBA/MAS - is preferred
  2. Experience in managing sales or marketing teams
  3. Sharp negotiation and networking skills
  4. Organizational skills
  5. Problem-solving skills
  6. Educational background in business, marketing, or finance
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  1. Know how to create and present important business documents

  1. Working knowledge of customer systems, including their internal purchasing, engineering, appearance approval and shipping systems.
  2. Working knowledge of contact management systems, contracts, and processes
  3. Working knowledge of internal systems including quote submission, and program cost tracking.
