Description
The Director of Marketing is responsible for ensuring that ABEC's capabilities and unique value propositions are widely recognized throughout the global biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry. She/he develops and implements marketing strategies, manages ABEC's marketing channels, measures marketing performance, and collaborates closely with technical resources to produce compelling content. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, dynamic leader with the vision and ability to significantly advance the marketing function at ABEC.
Responsibilities:
•Prioritize and manage marketing activities based on company/product initiatives and strategies.
•Evaluate, develop, and mentor team personnel. Identify and fill resource needs.
•Develop and manage marketing budgets.
•Optimize digital marketing efforts for maximum return, including website SEO, social media activity, and paid advertising channels.
•Collaborate cross-functionally to create and publish product marketing content and collateral such as brochures, case studies, product briefs, and videos.
•Manage external suppliers providing marketing services such as graphic design, multi-media content, and advertising.
•Evaluate, plan, and execute conference and trade show participation.
•Manage ABEC's corporate image including document style guidelines and ABEC facilities look.
•Actively identify and drive Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities.
•Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
•Minimum 15 years' experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the manufacturing or process industries.
•Biopharmaceutical and/or high technology industry experience preferred.
•Prior experience with direct personnel management and leadership of teams.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to effectively drive activity in a matrixed organization.
•Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
•Ability to travel globally.
•Awareness of and prior experience with implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) a plus.
•Prior Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus.
