Advertising Manager/Creative Director - PrintWe're looking for someone able to multi-task and manage multiple timelines. As a team leader and contributor, this person performs tasks effectively, develops collaborative relationships with team members, displays clear communication, and acts proactively and professionally. This person needs to be able to communicate changes from executive reviews of ads and make suggestions in terms of design based on the executive direction.Job Responsibilities:Manage and prioritize projects, and oversee team members when Senior managers are out of the office. Work with buyers and managers on various projects, sometimes leading video meetings.Create and assemble circulars and Newspaper ROPS, review and critique photos from our in-house photo studio, and design special projects such as T-shirt designs, logos, newsletters, billboards, and banners.Use previous formats to fill in merchandise, copy, and pricing. Design new formats and create new graphics or adapt graphics from digital or TV concepts for print.Job Qualifications:7+ years of related work experience in retail marketing, with an understanding of retail timelines and deadlines.Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized. Ability to proof ads periodically and take initiative when needed.Experience in Adobe Suite, ideally with print.Confident outgoing personality, able to attend meetings with senior executives when needed.Hours are 9-5:30 with some flexibility. Open to working late if needed to meet deadlines or to attend executive meetings.
