Senior Litigation Associate AttorneyJoin a prestigious midsize law firm in Los Angeles, known for its comprehensive handling of complex litigation matters across various domains including constitutional law, civil rights, and eminent domain. This role offers the opportunity to lead litigation cases from initiation to resolution, providing legal expertise in high-stakes situations. Ideal candidates will contribute to a dynamic team environment, drawing on robust litigation experience to effectively manage cases in both state and federal courts, ensuring precision in legal strategy execution and client satisfaction.Salary: $165,000.00 - $205,000.00 per yearEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Direct all litigation phases from initial pleadings, through discovery, motions, trials, and appeals.Handle complex legal issues in constitutional law, civil rights, eminent domain, among others.Develop litigation strategies, conduct research, and draft compelling legal arguments.Manage comprehensive electronic discovery processes and engage in extensive law and motion practice across various jurisdictions.Conduct interviews with witnesses, take and defend depositions to gather and ascertain critical evidence.Prepare cases diligently for trial, focusing on detail-oriented, strategic presentation and argumentation.Minimum Position Qualifications:Minimum 4 to 6 years of intensive litigation experience, especially in managing complex cases.Exceptional ability to conduct legal research and formulate clear, influential legal writings.Extensive experience working in both federal and state courts, including handling dispositive motions.Proficient in electronic discovery and well-acquainted with deposition practices.Required possession of a California Bar license.Proven track record of effective teamwork in professional settings.Preferred Qualifications:Prior exposure to eminent domain or real estate law is highly advantageous.Demonstrated skill in high-stake and large-scale litigation environments.Skills:Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Effective organizational and time management skills.Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Advanced proficiency with legal research software and tools.Benefits:401(k) plan with matching contributions.Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance packages.Paid time off for vacations, holidays, and sick leave.Firm-supported professional development and continued legal education.Profit-sharing options as part of annual compensation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
