Effectively communicating with upstream and downstream Team Members to address safety, quality and efficiency issues/concerns Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications: Industrial maintenance experience, to include welding, overhead crane operation, inspection and repair CNC programming, diagnoses and repair. Specifically related to Hurco mills. CAD experience including the ability to create drawings based on reverse engineering of a component. Knowledgeable in diagnoses and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic energy systems, electric motors and circuits. Experience with roll-form tooling and assembly.
