Education & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, mathematics or related field preferred . Prefer five or more years of experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedures. Must be organized, able to work independently and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with enterprise resource planning software required. Must be proficient with computers and standard office technology.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines.
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock.
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory.
- Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
- Review and post the consumption report from production completed the previous day. Contact Prep lead or supervisor regarding any discrepancies.
- Respond to sales/purchase inquiries and process orders for shipment.
- Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment. Communicate with Warehouse and shuttle carrier regarding transfers.
- Print out and maintain transfer sheets.
- Post warehouse shipments per bill of lading.
- Collect and analyze data to determine appropriate order quantities.
- Track rates of accuracy, as well as defective items for quality control purposes.
- Provide customer service as needed.
