KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with marketing and business leaders to understand strategic needs and develop appropriate research objectives and success measures
- Design all aspects of the qualitative and quantitative research process, including project methodology, proposal writing, and primary market research materials (e.g., questionnaires, discussion guides) to deliver on client needs
- Communicate methodological approach to stakeholders and gain necessary buy-in
- Lead all aspects of complex qualitative and quantitative research projects
- Analyze research data and integrate with other research and analytic insights
- Develop research findings and recommendations based on the insights
- Monitor industry trends and competitive offerings and incorporate into research findings and recommendations
- Work with marketing and business leaders to ensure recommendations are actionable and aligned with business priorities
- Monitor project finances to ensure budget stays on target
- Manage financial and business growth of accounts
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 7 years of primary market research experience - MUST HAVE DIRECT MARKET RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Experience, knowledge, and comfort in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and/or medical device industry is a plus, but not necessary
- Sound understanding of research principles, designs, and methodologies for qualitative and quantitative research
- Capacity to oversee and direct multiple projects and team members
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication, both written and oral, and interpersonal skills
- Accustomed to consulting with and influencing senior leaders
- Ability and desire to think creatively, critically, and strategically
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint (data visualization skills a plus), and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in SPSS or similar software a plus, but not necessary
