Requirements Required Qualifications - High school diploma or GED
- Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, on-call, and holidays
- Experience with reading blueprints and precision measurements
- Troubleshooting experience
- Experience using a computer for record keeping and documentation - Using a Work Order System
- Able to work in extreme heat/cold, navigate catwalks and ladders - physical ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, which includes climbing stairs, navigating catwalks, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping and bending
- Ability to communicate effectively and constructively
- Comprehension of complex work instructions and documentation
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts in an industrial environment
- Basic trade skills in industrial equipment repair and execution of routine preventative maintenance of heavy industrial equipment
- Knowledge of and ability to weld
- Machinist training and experience
- Stable employment history with a minimum two years of experience in Industrial Maintenance work OR equivalent education to include vocation/technical school certificate
- A personal and total commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations
- Knowledge of bearing installment, coupling, belts, sprockets and chain drive installations
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Basic knowledge of metal fabrication
- Basic knowledge of cylinder repair
- Working knowledge of basic industrial electricity issues
- Must be willing to keep up with mechanical advancements
- Performs other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications - Vocational or technical school certificate in related area
- Past employment experience in a manufacturing environment
- Past employment in a manufacturing facility
- Experience with CMMS
- Knowledge of fire protection systems
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools and precision measuring and test instruments
- Experienced in pneumatic, hydraulic and conveyor systems
- Excellent skills in root cause analysis
- Skilled in all aspects of mechanical maintenance
- Team oriented
- Willing and able to learn new jobs and skills
